Prabhakaran is CTO of Cyient

Hyderabad: Cyient Limited, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has announced the appointment of KA Prabhakaran as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of its Digital Engineering and Technology (DET) business.

Prabhakaran brings over 30 years of rich experience in engineering, research, and development. He joins Cyient from Honeywell, where he served as vice president and CTO for the Process Solutions group, leading global technology innovations and customer-centric solutions. Previously based in Houston, Texas, he will now operate from Cyient’s Bengaluru office. An expert in driving digital transformation and fostering global research collaborations, Prabhakaran has successfully led large teams across industries, including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, and Renewable Energy.

His deep expertise in developing technology solutions for large OEMs, particularly in avionics, aligns with Cyient’s strategic growth areas. In his new role, Prabhakaran will shape Cyient’s technological vision, focusing on delivering market-ready solutions, expanding the company’s innovation footprint, and building future-ready capabilities. His leadership will be key to accelerating Cyient’s growth and enhancing its competitive edge.
